**Job Title:** Surgical Technologist**Job Specialty:** Operating Room**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks**Shift:** Day - 5x7.5 - 11 AM to 7 PM**Guaranteed Hours:** 37.5 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum 2 years**License:** Not required for submission**Certifications:**- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA**Must-Have:** COVID and Flu vaccines required (No exemptions)**Job Description:**- Work in an acute care setting specializing in the operating room.- Utilize EPIC charting system efficiently.- Collaborate and assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgical personnel.- Prepare and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures.- Assist in the care, maintenance, and sterilization of surgical instruments.- Comply with infection control and health regulations.- Participate in on-call duties as necessary.- Engage in a 12-hour orientation program.- Maintain excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Be adaptable to the dynamic environment of the operating room.
