Assessments will be completed by RN, LPC, or LMSW.- Facilitate groups, family and individual sessions, and complete all necessary documentation.- Schedule unit assessments, meetings, and appointments as appropriate.- Utilize assessment tools including the Geriatric Depression Scale, Zung, LUMS, and alcohol screening tools under the authorization/supervision of an RN, LPC, or LMSW.- Communicate with referral sources, including family members, the legal system, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other treatment facilities.- Review newly admitted patient accounts for eligibility and authorization daily.- Maintain schedule for filing court paperwork and hearings and work closely with court personnel.- Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.- Address issues in a timely manner, including crisis and higher level of care referrals.- Perform other duties as assigned or required by this position.**Primary Contacts:**- Internal: Executives, Managers, Employees, Peers, Patients- External: Patients, Families, Referral Sources, Vendors, AgenciesThe company is committed to the principle of Equal Employment Opportunity for all employees and applicants.
