Certification Details BLS RDCS RCS Job Details General job duties. Types of procedures required. Perform inpatient and outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms for both adult and pediatric patients. Occasional stress echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.: Machines: Philips Epiqs, Affinity's and IE33's. GE E95 and Vived E9. Reporting systems: Epiq Cupid - reporting, Sectra – Cardiology PACS. Job Requirements Graduate of accredited program with at least three years of experience. BLS - must be American Heart Association certified. RDCS or RCS certification required. NDMIRT (if does not have it, then willing to get). Min 3 years experience. Schedule Information Mostly clinic and hospital shifts ranging from start times of 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Staffed/call one weekend/month along with another staff member. Call one day every other week. Will work alone only after hours if called in. Unit Specific Information Staffed at two separate campuses. Would rotate between the two campuses, never changing within the same day. Would start with clinic for orientation to learn protocol and expectations, then move to the hospital for way-finding. This process should take no longer than two weeks.
