Overview:Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking full-time Traveling Registered Nurses (RNs) and full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees. Our Centurion Eagles Traveling Nurses are part of a travel team and work between various correctional facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having convenient block scheduling, outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends.Responsibilities:

The Travel RNs and LPNs will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, per contract needs. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Qualifications:

• Missouri RN or LPN license or ability to obtain license
• Compact Licensure preferred
• At least two (2) years of RN or LPN experience
• IV Certification preferred for LPNs
• Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Missouri as needed per contract needs
• Current CPR/BLS
• Corrections experience not required, but preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience not required, but preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
