Job Description :

The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in Treasury products and a proven track record of financial modeling within a large banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain complex financial models, including but not limited to Internal Liquidity Stress Test (ILST), Capital Stress Test models, Cash Flow Projection models, and Liquidity Buffer models to assess and forecast liquidity risks and capital adequacy.
  • Treasury Product Expertise: Provide deep insights into Treasury products such as unsecured funding, money market funds, secured financing, and securities lending/borrowing. Support strategies for optimizing capital structure, managing liquidity buffers, and ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
  • Regulatory Submissions: Assist in preparing regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and industry standards. This may include managing the internal processes and timelines for submitting required reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Cash Management: Develop and implement strategies for effective cash management, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring that the organization has sufficient cash flow for daily operations while meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Analyze potential risks to the organization's liquidity and capital structure and propose appropriate mitigation strategies. Work with risk management teams to identify, assess, and manage financial risks.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, stress test results, liquidity position, and recommendations for financial optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve existing treasury processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, control, and accuracy. Recommend and implement automation solutions for financial modeling and reporting, particularly using Excel-based tools and VBA.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams including finance, risk, and compliance departments, as well as external regulatory bodies, auditors, and clients, to ensure effective treasury management practices and adherence to relevant guidelines.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other stakeholders within the organization, sharing expertise in treasury functions and financial modeling best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or MBA (Master of Business Administration) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in financial services, particularly in treasury, financial modeling, and regulatory reporting within a large banking organization or similar financial institution.
  • Expertise in Financial Modeling: In-depth experience in creating and managing complex financial models for liquidity stress testing, capital stress testing, and cash flow projections.
  • Treasury Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Treasury products, including unsecured funding, money market funds, secured financing, and securities lending/borrowing.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Prior experience in preparing and submitting regulatory reports is preferred. Familiarity with key banking regulations related to liquidity and capital management is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel-based tools, including financial modeling and VBA. Familiarity with other financial software or systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with banking regulations, particularly Basel III or other international liquidity and capital regulations.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

Pay Rate- $80-$85/hour
