Responsibilities:RiverView Recovery Center has an opening for a full-time Treatment Director. The Director is responsible for day-to-day operations of the service line including documentation, billing procedures and compliance with MN 245G statutes. The position is also responsible for oversight all CD clinical services including but not limited to; facilitation of group therapy, facilitation of individual therapy, comprehensive assessments, participation in clinical staffing, facilitation of recreational therapy, presentation of educational lectures, crisis management, family counseling and case management. This position will need to develop and maintain positive relationships with appropriate referral sources. The Director will display clinical competency in the 12 core counseling functions: screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, client education, referral, reports & record keeping, and consultation with other professionals, educate clients on resources and opportunities in the community which provide assistance for their needs, collaborate with the client, referents, providers, etcto provide an appropriate discharge plan for the client, display ability to access and utilize electronic record in order to access, reference, and document on client activity/behavior and accurately complete reports required for statistical purposes in the state of Minnesota (i.e. DAANES).
The Director Interact with clients in a positive manner maintaining strict ethical boundaries with all clients both current and past, display ability to verbally de-escalate crisis situations, project empathy and respect toward clients, refrain from expressing any judgments or assumptions about clients and monitor and respond when necessary to clients verbal and non-verbal communications.
This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
