The Groundsman plays a vital role in supporting our tree climbers by handling tasks on the ground, including collecting and clearing debris, operating equipment, and ensuring the work site remains safe and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Assist tree climbers by preparing and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areasCollect, chip, and remove branches, logs, and debris from work sitesOperate equipment such as wood chippers, chainsaws, and stump grindersCommunicate with climbers to ensure safe and efficient work coordinationFollow all safety guidelines and ensure worksite safety for the crew and bystandersLoad and unload equipment from trucks and trailersPerform basic maintenance on tools and equipment Qualifications: Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is a plusFamiliarity with chainsaws, wood chippers, and other tree care equipmentStrong focus on safety and attention to detailAbility to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditionsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsValid driver's license is required.
