Truck Driver Class A - Star Freight Trucking : Job Details

Responsibilities:- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, and tankers- Drive designated routes and follow delivery schedules- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team membersQualifications:- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in roll-off trucks, route driving, or tractor-trailers- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and the ability to operate them confidently- Knowledge of tanker operations and safety procedures is a plus- Ability to safely load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment- Excellent driving record with no accidents or violations- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team membersPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
