Summary of essential job functionsTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Pick up, transport and unload bulk raw materials as dictated by production requirements.* Monitor and maintain adequate levels of bulk and other raw materials on a daily/weekly basis.* Occasional transport of miscellaneous equipment/materials to and from company owned facilities and outside vendors/contractors.* Occasional loading/unloading of materials using a forklift.* Perform required raw material testing as specified by Standard Operating Procedures.* Complete annual training requirements.* Assist with inventory and cycle counts as needed.Requirements* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. The employee must occasionally lift and/or position and secure of loads, perform general housekeeping utilizing hand tools and drive.* While performing the duties of this Job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
