Truck Driver-Non CDL Driver FULL-TIME

$24.76/hr

- Responsible for delivering product safely to customers by operating and driving a company delivery truck with a gross vehicle weight of less than 26,000 pounds. -Inspects vehicle and load before and after delivery.-Follows safety regulations, maintains the vehicle, and secures cargo for safe transport.-Plans routes using navigation tools and adjusts based on traffic and road conditions.-Verifies load documentation, confirms contents match, and ensures compliance with state regulations.-Operates trucks, including tractor-trailers, to transport products and materials.-Maintains logs of work hours and vehicle status in line with regulations.-Communicates with customers and team members and collects proof of delivery.-Reports vehicle issues, helps unload cargo, and performs additional duties as assigned.

-Couple or uncouple trailers by adjusting trailer jacks, connecting/disconnecting air or electrical lines, and manipulating fifth-wheel locks.-Crank trailer landing gear to secure vehicles safely.-Communicate with customer support and sales teams for updates on customer yards.-Check inventory levels at customer sites and suggest replenishment orders.-Act as a liaison between Award and customers, engaging with sales and support teams.-Assist with moving trailers to and from offsite locations and within the yard.-Remove debris from loaded trailers.-Report quality defects observed before leaving pickup locations.
