The Parts Delivery Driver delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, keeps inventory control, and maintains a safe and secure environment. This position also works within the Dealership warehouse stocking parts, performing cyclecounting, pull orders, dirty core processing, and general warehouse duties.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1)Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Deliver to the customer safely, efficiently, and on time
- Ensure proper inventory control
- Make sure customer needs are met and any issues addressed
- Ensure proper items are pulled for delivery order
- Properly load orders into delivery vehicle
- Delivery to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain proper condition of the delivery vehicle and notify the supervisor of any repairs needed
- Verify orders for correct pulls
- Ensure cores are returned for credit
- Return incorrectly ordered parts
- Stock shelves as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure orders are delivered on time
- Ensure all orders are accurate before delivery
- Quickly resolve any erroneous parts deliveries
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General knowledge of the trucking industry helpful
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service skills
- General understanding of inventory management Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift certified
- Some delivery experience is preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

- Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist
- Employee may have to climb and/or lift to and over 80 lbs. frequently

- Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness, humidity, and sometimes darkness
