Job Title: Truckload Dispatcher / Load Planner

Job Type: Full Time (onsite) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Truckload Dispatcher / Load Planner to manage load planning and dispatch operations for a Midwest dry van transportation company. In this role you will oversee up to 10 drivers plan and book loads ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and collaborate with customers to ensure ontime deliveries. Safety concerns will be escalated to the Safety Coordinator as needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and book loads to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Negotiate load rates.
• Track and trace loads.
• Manage load documentation.
• Enter data and load updates into TMS and customer portals.
• Monitor driver performance and safety compliance.
• Build strong customer and driver relationships.
• Utilize DAT board to secure loads.
• Participate in a quarterly incentive plan tied to truck revenue performance.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in load planning and dispatching within the trucking industry.
• Strong track and trace experience.
• Excellent communication organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to function in a highintensity environment.
• Familiarity with TMS systems and Samsara ELD is a plus.
