Here at gpac we are working with a financial institution that is looking for a Trust Officer to join their team. This position is an exciting growth opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for trust account servicing, including ongoing account reviews, discretionary distribution reviews, relationship building with advisors, clients, and attorneys, assisting in researching legal issues, knowledge of state and federal statutes governing trust administration
- Accountable for servicing and retention of existing accounts.
- Supervise and monitor new account establishment and funding
- Work internal trust team, attorneys, and accountants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree JD and/or Masters degree preferred
- 5 years of relevant trust experience.
- CTFA, CFP, CFA, CES, or equivalent preferred
- Trust investment knowledge and/or experience with brokerage and/or delivery of trust services through alternative channels
- Business development experience
