Job Title: Tube Cell Operator Location: Mocksville, NC Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities: · Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts, and sub-assemblies on any line within the plant, in accordance with predetermined standard work. · Reads and interprets engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, bills of material, and quality control documents. · Takes responsibility for quality and work content performed in the applicable operation by signing off on the appropriate documentation prior to indexing to the next step in process. · Ensures that all tools used in performing job duties are within calibration, as stated on calibration sticker. Where discrepancies arise, immediate notification of supervisor occurs. · Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work area and follow all safety rules and procedures. · Use of calipers, dial, indicators, precision measuring devices. · Stand for extended periods of time and l ift up to 35 pounds · Be familiar with machine set ups and Ability to troubleshoot machine issues Qualifications/Skills · Ability to learn basic computer skills · Good command of the English language is required · Ability to read and understand work orders and other types of reports. · Higher skill level must analyze information, and present and create reports · Ability to easily perform basic math abilities including addition, subtraction, division, fractions and decimals · Ability to interpret graphs and other data require · High School Diploma or GED required. · Minimum of one year experience with assembly of equipment requiring a high degree of precision.
