Tutors provide individual and group tutoring sessions in person and virtually to enhance comprehension of class content and success topics such as time management and study skills. Additionally, tutors will actively participate in events and workshops, contributing to the design and delivery of academic support initiatives. Work hours typically fall Monday through Thursday throughout the academic semester, following a predetermined schedule for student appointments or drop-in sessions.Weekly hours may vary between 8 to 20 hours per week during the semester. Tutors will be responsible for documenting session notes for each student and collaborating with instructors to address student needs effectively.Minimum and Additional Requirements An Associate degree or higher in the content area they will be tutoring or a closely related field.Consideration may be given to current students close to graduation with a recommendation from their instructor.
