Key Qualifications:

• Experience in achieving high academic performance, creating academic equity, and sound school finance management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills.
• Expertise in K-12 curriculum development and implementation, effective instructional practices, PA Common Core Standards, State Assessments, professional development, and clinical supervision.
• Working knowledge of MTSS, data analysis, school improvement initiatives, and federal programs.
• Knowledge of school organization and management, school district policies, collective bargaining, and PA labor and school law.
• Knowledge of educational and technological best practices.
• Understanding of student services / special education, and success in community engagement and involvement.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Possess PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility.
• Master's Degree in Education required.
• Previous experience as a principal or in curriculum and instruction administration preferred.
• Minimum ten years of experience in public education including elementary and secondary school instruction.
• Minimum of two years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a relevant role.
