Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan & Ulster is hiring for the Ulster County Regional Supervisor position in our Kingston Case Management location. This position pays $65,000 - 70,000 annually, dependent upon experience, credentials, etc. This position comes with 4 weeks of vacation, 12 paid holidays, 8 personal/sick days, and the option for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and a Retirement plan. Summary: This position supervises the daily activities of Case Management and other Ulster County programmatic initiatives. These initiatives include, but are not limited to, the Ulster County Homeless Housing Services, NOVO, Catholic Youth Organization, Rental Supplemental Program, and Pantry Programs. He/she oversees activities to ensure that the needs of vulnerable populations in our local communities are being served by Catholic Charities of Orange Sullivan and Ulster (CCOSU). Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 1. Provide training and regular supervision to Ulster County Case Managers, NOVO Migration Outreach Coordinator, Rental Supplemental Program case manager, Assistant Supervisor for Case Manager, interns, and other CCOSU program staff. 2. Maintain updated information on resources in Ulster County and provide that to the staff. 3. Actively utilize and monitor the agency-administered electronic client database system (Apricot), using available reporting functions, and periodically review the cases in their area to ensure program service quality. Actively participate in system-wide data sharing through integrated digital referral systems (Unite Us) or other means. 4. Ability to prepare grants or Request for Proposals to support the expansion of services. 5. Provide direct case management services and maintain a limited caseload of clients, as needed. This includes coverage during vacancies, extended illnesses, and vacations. 6. Develop and monitor budgets, track expenditures, monitor program productivity/contract deliverables and audits to determine that all program funding is used appropriately. 7. Responsible for Regional Food Pantry in Ulster County, including ordering, maintaining and creating spreadsheets for food distributions, donations, Pop-up Pantry and giveaway items. This includes covering other sites in the absence of a supervisor in another county. 8. Responsible for organizing CCOSU special projects. These include Stuff-the-Bus (June and November), Adopt-A-Family and Giving Tree (Christmas), and Back-to-School Supply giveaways (August) in collaboration with other Regional Case Management Supervisors of CCOSU. 9. Monitor and track any donations provided to Ulster County and submit donation logs to the Advancement Office monthly. 10. Conduct outreach to build community relationships and promote an awareness and understanding of these programs and services and foster the work of CCOSU. 11. Collaborate with CCOSU staff to ensure optimal service delivery to all clients, 12. Collaborate with all regulatory agencies (i.e., DSS, OMH, OCDH) and community partner agencies. 13. Participate in agency and/or county-based committees as assigned or approved Supervisor. 14. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor or by program-specific needs. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. Additional hours during evening and weekends are required to attend events and meet Agency and program needs. Working conditions and physical demands required: The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Travel at least 50% of the time using public transportation or vehicle, traverse city streets; occasionally ascend/descend stairs, and be exposed to outside weather conditions. • Remain in a stationary position at a workstation and use a computer at least 40% of the time. • Traverse neighborhoods that may require a high level of alertness and awareness of surroundings. • Ability to work with the public and work with clients who require consistent and comprehensive support, some under potentially stressful conditions. • Carry a laptop to offsite work locations. • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable vehicle. Qualifications Education and/or experience required: • MSW/MA preferred and will be strongly considered • College degree and more than five years of supervisory/administrative experience in a Human Services or Not-for-Profit organization • Proven years of professional growth Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required: • Bi-lingual – English / Spanish is a PLUS • Knowledge of Ulster County social service delivery systems (preferred) • Excellent organizational, administrative, and grant preparation skills • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and listening skills. • Ability to be a team player and motivate others to do the same. • Ability to supervise staff at remote locations. • Ability to contribute to preparing programmatic policies and protocols
