Ultrasound Tech Weekends - Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center : Job Details

Description:RESPONSIBLE FOR: Operates ultrasound equip to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectionalanatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Four (4) years of experience required.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:ARDMS registered in at least 3 specialties. (Does not include RVT)ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified. Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is preferred.
