Ultrasound Technician - High Risk Obstetrics - Tandym Group : Job Details

A recognized health services organization in New York City is currently seeking a new Ultrasound Technician to join their growing High Risk Obstetrics team.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
• Setting: Acute Care
• Department: Radiology Diagnostic
• EMR: EPIC

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform at least 2-3 anatomy US per day, with competence in OB anatomy US (prenatal)
• Perform high-quality obstetrical ultrasound examinations for high-risk patients
• Ensure the proper functionality and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss findings and determine next steps
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Document and maintain accurate patient records
• Stay current with ultrasound techniques and participate in ongoing education opportunities
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of High Risk Obstetrical Ultrasound experience
• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Ability to independently perform at least 2-3 anatomy Ultrasounds per day
• Competence in OB anatomy US (prenatal)
