Position Details: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic team. In this traveling role, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services across various skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the tri-state NYC area. You will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care, ensuring resident comfort, and upholding the high standards of professionalism that are central to our mission. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular imaging, tailored to the needs of residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings Operate ultrasound equipment effectively to capture high-quality images Prepare and position residents for ultrasound exams, explaining procedures to ensure understanding and comfort Review and analyze ultrasound images, providing preliminary results to physicians in a timely manner Maintain accurate patient records and reports in compliance with healthcare regulations. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff Travel to various facilities within the tri-state NYC area using personal or company-provided transportation Communicate effectively with residents, medical staff, and administrative personnel Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through ongoing education and training Requirements: Certification in one of the following: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), or RVT (Registered Vascular Technician) Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation, required Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician, with a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling High attention to detail and dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and travel requirements Benefits: Health Dental Vision Company Sponsored Life Insurance Short and Long term Disability Paid Time Off Malpractice insurance Salary Range: $50,000-$72,000 EEO/AAP Statement: Infinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
