Job Summary

Up to $7,500 sign on bonus with 18-month contract post orientation!

The Sonographer is responsible for working directly with patients and physicians, performing a variety of specialized sonographic procedures while providing patient care and patient safety as established by department standards. This position is responsible for performing a variety of dependent and basic secretarial, clerical and housekeeping functions such as customer service, examination and work area cleaning, telephone communications, computer system data entry, information retrieval, (HIS, RIS, PACS), and infection control. It requires independent judgment and initiative while operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment, preparing exam rooms, and keeping the ultrasound department stocked with supplies. Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or Business required, Bachelors preferred.
• ARDMS registry required in one or any combination of in ABD, OB/GYN or RVT.
• Each employee is responsible for acquiring his/her own Continuing Education Credits to stay in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Experience:

• 2 years experience required. The candidate needs to be proficient in ABD, OB/GYN, Peripheral/abdominal Vasculature, Small Parts.

Job Highlights

• 4 weekdays 11:30a - 9:00p, 1 weekend / month /day shift
• Salary Range: $32-$42 hourly
• Sign-on Bonus $7500 (2+yrs experience)
• 4+ hours on 2nd shift (@ 3pm) $1.15
• 4+ hours on 3rd shift (@11p) $1.65
• Weekends (11pFriday – 7a Monday) $3.00
• Holidays $4.00
