Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for an Ultrasound Technologist position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in New York City, NY This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: New York City, NY

Schedule: 40 hrs/week

Shift: 5x8 Days (8 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $2400.00- $2500.00 Weekly DOE

Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled ultrasound technician to be responsible for operating sonographic scanners to capture images of patients' internal organs and expectant mothers' developing fetuses. The ultrasound technician may specialize or work in a broad array of specialties including obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds, and neurological, breast, heart, or abdominal sonography. You may also assist radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedure and ultrasound-guided biopsies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations per departmental protocols.

Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment.

Ensure patient and personnel safety during procedures.

Capture and transfer images to PACS for physician review.

Prepare patients for procedures and follow departmental guidelines.

Assist in onboarding and mentoring new ultrasound personnel.

Manage supplies and ensure availability.

Perform other administrative tasks, including scheduling and telephone support.

Qualifications:

Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

BLS certification

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
