Job Description :
We are currently seeking dedicated and professional Patrol Officers to ensure the safety and security of our client's patrons, employees, and property. As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to access control, monitoring site areas, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a strong focus on community/customer relations. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular building checks to identify and address any security concerns or breaches.
  • Lock and unlock facilities as per established procedures, ensuring the security of the premises.
  • Write comprehensive reports detailing incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
  • Control and manage entry to site areas, verifying the identification of individuals and enforcing access policies.
  • Monitor site areas through visual inspections and surveillance systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing appropriate assistance and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Check identification of individuals accessing restricted areas, ensuring compliance with authorized access protocols.
  • Provide first aid and act as a first responder in medical emergencies until further medical assistance arrives.
  • Actively discourage and prevent violations including, but not limited to, vagrancy, disruptiveness, violence, unauthorized sales and advertising, and vandalism.
  • Additional Responsibilities:A. Maintain the security and integrity of the site, prioritizing community/customer relations.B. Call for local law enforcement assistance prior to investigating actual or indicated violations at site areas.C. Cooperate with local and state police, as well as client personnel, who provide valid identification and purpose.D. Ensure high visibility and accessibility to the public, offering information and projecting a strong security presence to instill public confidence. E. Receive, document, and store found articles during the execution of services, delivering them to the designated location at the conclusion of each shift.F. Refrain from having family, friends, or visitors accompany or visit you at any site area during working hours.G. Perform duties with full attention, avoiding personal devices or materials that may distract from the job.Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is desirable.
  • Knowledge of access control systems and procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
