Provides direct supervision to visiting counselors in an Apartment Treatment Program.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Program hours: Office is open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Mon. to Fri. and Saturdays 8AM to 4PM.
Annualized at $67,777.00 with a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus of $3000.00.

Program Description: The Apartment Treatment Program, Community Residence is a 54 bed, scattered site program. The program is licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health and designed for single adults diagnosed with a mental illness who will benefit from a shared living arrangement as they work on the skills that will enable them to successfully transition to more independent supportive housing. Residents have their own bedrooms in scattered sites, three-bedroom apartments.
Essential Responsibility and Role of a Unit Director/Supervisor: The Unit Director is responsible for ensuring that his/her unit is operated in compliance with the Office of Mental Health (OMH), New York State Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) regulations, and in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and policies of Geel and provide apartment/case load coverage as needed.
