Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Handle clerical tasks, maintain patient records, and assist with document preparation.
- Serve as a contact point for inquiries, answer phones, relay messages, and facilitate communication within the unit.
- Greet and assist patients and families, support admission and discharge processes.
- Coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures, collaborating with departments as needed.
- Monitor and replenish unit supplies, assist with inventory management.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to support daily operations.
- Follow safety protocols, maintain compliance with regulations, and ensure accurate documentation.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Medical Assisting or CNA experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
- Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months
- Current Annual Health Clearance
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and office equipment.
