University eCommerce and Cashiering System Administrator

This position is a key management position in Treasury Services, responsible for the campus-wide eCommerce and cashiering system used to account for funds received into the University's depository bank account. Many departments use the system across campus, so the position requires a person with business and technical experience who can service various academic and auxiliary units across campus. This role requires excellent collaboration and communication with campus departments about the eCommerce and cashiering system and how to best meet their payment needs.

What you'll do in this position:

* Provide eCommerce administrative support for campus departments by creating and maintaining eMarket websites, ensure sales tax compliance, and resolving challenges

* Assist departments through the University E-Commerce Procedures process to ensure all university eCommerce transactions comply with security, accessibility, branding, tax, and PCI requirements

* Provide cashiering administrative support for campus departments including operator setup, department deposit, training, and technical troubleshooting

* Manage the operations of the eCommerce and cashiering system

* Verify batch and real-time extract postings and perform daily reconciliations to ensure all journal files, ACH files, credit card reversals, and other transactions are accurately processed and recorded

* Coordinate and ensure year-round PCI compliance efforts for all eCommerce and cashiering system operations. Participate in the annual PCI audit and be an active member of the University PCI Committee

* Assist with banking operations as needed

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

* Bachelor's degree and one year of full-time or two years of part-time work experience in a business, treasury, cashiering, or related field

* Effective organization, collaboration, and communication skills

* Professionalism in working with campus entities to determine their needs and how Treasury Services can assist

Preferred

* Bachelor's degree in a business, treasury, or information systems-related field and four years of full- or part-time work experience in a business, treasury, cashiering, or related field

* Experience in systems used by Brigham Young University, including Transact Payments, Workday, and experience with Excel

* Experience in banking and treasury-related processes

* Working knowledge of PCI DSS standards

* Working knowledge of reconciling and other accounting processes
