The Universal Sales Consultant role is required ONSITE at PODS Sales & Service Center located in Clearwater, FL.

Onsite Interview Event: January 9 - 10, 2025 @ Clearwater Sales & Service Center
Training Class Start Date: Monday, January 27th, 2025 (Training program is 5 weeks)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (11:30am - 8:00pm)
Rate: $18/Hour PLUS unlimited commission earning potential and other financial incentives for reaching target goals
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for promoting and selling PODS products and services, the Universal Sales Associate will approach sales as an opportunity to help our customers get the best value for their money by leveraging our 5-step consultative sales process. Universal Sales Associates must be service-oriented individuals, capable of communicating effectively while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor. The Universal Sales Associate must exercise sound judgment and act responsibly on the customer's behalf in order to deliver a world-class customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate exceptional selling techniques and product knowledge to provide customers with container rental and associated product information, establish quotes, and secure quality sales for local and long-distance moves
• Solicit information from customers, capturing all data elements to evaluate their needs and match our product line to ensure customer requirements are met, and ensure that the customer understands the products and services offered
• Meet or exceed all performance criteria as defined, including but not limited to container targets, containers per hour, conversion, adherence to schedule, average handle time, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Ability to handle all call types, including but not limited to military, customer service, and other overflow calls as necessary to fulfill business needs
• Ability to work schedules as determined to meet business needs, including some overtime as needed
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Supervisor - Sales Operations
• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
• 1 -3 years + sales experience preferred
• Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
• High School diploma or equivalent
