Job Summary The Upper School at Gulliver Prep is seeking passionate and dedicated educators for a variety of positions within the English department to join our growing team. Applicants must be well versed in multiple genres of classic and contemporary literature from around the world, as well as American literature. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of effective writing instruction. Qualified applicants must be able to develop and execute effective lesson plans that cover the curriculum, engage students' interests, and promote higher-order thinking. Additionally, these roles will require collaboration with other instructors and instructors of other disciplines. Applicants must be adept at keeping accurate records of student progress and communicating with students, parents, and counselors to discuss concerns or issues. Minimum Qualifications
