We Love the Communities We Serve – Come Make a Difference!If you share our passion for providing quality healthcare to families, friends, and neighbors, join us at Stopwatch Urgent Care!Why Choose Stopwatch Urgent Care? • Patient-Centered Care – Deliver high-quality, compassionate medical care in a fast-paced environment. • Positive Workplace – Enjoy a respectful, professional, and encouraging work culture. • Work-Life Balance – Benefit from a rotating schedule that allows for personal time while maintaining full-time hours.Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive Pay: Hourly compensation reflecting experience and skills. • Company-Paid Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage, including life insurance. • Flexible Scheduling: Rotating schedule—three 11-hour shifts one week, four 11-hour shifts the next. • Continuing Medical Education (CME): Reimbursement to support ongoing learning. • Student Loan Assistance: $300/month toward student loan repayment for full-time physicians. • 529(b) College Savings Plan: Tax-advantaged savings for future educational needs. • No Out-of-Pocket Medical Services: Employees and qualified family members receive care at our clinics at no cost. • Generous PTO: Earn up to 128 hours of paid time off in your first year.Your Role as an Urgent Care Physician:As a vital member of our team, you will: • Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting. • Perform minor procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage. • Provide efficient, high-quality medical care with a focus on patient satisfaction. • Work autonomously while collaborating with APPs and support staff. • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently for documentation and patient care.Qualifications: • Licensure: Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in Alabama. • Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related specialty. • Experience: Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred. • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to work independently. • DOT Certification: Preferred, but we offer support to obtain it within the first 6 weeks.Schedule & Work Environment: • Rotating Shifts: Three 11-hour shifts one week, four 11-hour shifts the next. • Weekend Rotations: Work every other weekend to maintain work-life balance. • Clinic Hours: Monday – Saturday (8 AM - 7 PM), Sunday (9 AM - 5 PM).
