Urgent Care Provider at Physicians Care

Physicians Care, with 12 locations throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, is seeking dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our healthcare team. Our convenient, walk-in centers provide a range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages
• Diagnose, treat, and educate patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
• Provide exemplary customer service to patients and coworkers
• Perform medical assessment, treatment, and management of clinic patients
• Maintain clinical core competency and ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting bodies
• Assist with in-service and continuing education programs for staff

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Provider
• State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
• Certification as an APRN through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
• DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• BLS certification
