We are seeking an Urgent Care Receptionist to create an exceptional patient experience at our busy office, handling 40-80 patients per shift. This role involves providing exemplary customer service from check-in to check-out.Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival and promptly answer incoming calls, gathering information to determine callers' needs and provide resolutions.
- Guide patients through registration processes, including verification of insurance.
- Utilize the patient queuing process to ensure patients and families are well informed of waiting times, providing the most efficient visit possible.
- Assist with patient feedback collection.
- Accurately record charges and payments to support patient billing and prepare the daily deposit and reconciliation log.
- Ensure all interactions with customers and team members instill confidence and trust.
- Inspire team members to confidently deliver quality and convenient care to our customers.
Experience:
- 1+ year of medical experience preferred.
- 1+ year of secretarial/receptionist experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
