Requirements and SkillsTo excel in this rewarding role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification is preferred, with current CPR certification being essential.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy is necessary for record-keeping and communication. Strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities are also crucial.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are required to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, clients, and their families.
