Join us in reshaping how businesses and their employees achieve immigration success.With care, efficiency and empathy, you will direct the end-to-end process of applying for and securing US employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, petitions and benefits applications. You will also provide strategic advice and counsel to employers and employees to help our clients gain maximum value from their immigration and mobility strategies.As an US Immigration Attorney (Senior Manager), you will lead a US-based team dedicated to developing and preparing timely filed immigration applications for large and emerging companies and their noncitizen employees, while providing strategic advice and counsel to address complex business and immigration issues.Professional skills and responsibilities for this management-level position include:
  • Manage multiple and challenging U.S. business immigration client engagements to deliver best-in-class, technology-optimized legal services to our clients.
  • Display an expert-level understanding of immigration law and can answer immigration and process questions from staff and clients with minimum level supervision.
  • Communicate with clients by simplifying complex messages and highlighting and summarizing key points so that corporate clients and noncitizen assignees quickly grasp the topic and the tasks ahead.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations on US business immigration strategies.
  • Use multiple sources of public and private information including immigration agency developments, broader stakeholder views, and client benchmarking to develop optimal solutions and recommendations.
  • Participate in current and prospective client meetings to convey the Vialto Law value proposition and the message that we approach client service holistically and strategically, while demonstrating emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of strategic initiatives that contribute to the future growth and success of Vialto Partners.
  • Participate in market facing activities such as webinars, alerts, marketing campaigns, RFP presentations, and in-person client presentations.
  • Utilize leadership skills to achieve high levels of team engagement, development and satisfaction from team members by creating a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on the latest US immigration trends, and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Uphold Vialto Law's code of ethics and business conduct.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of US business immigration experience, with a focus on H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM filings, employment-based immigrant visa petitions and adjustment of status applications.
  • Admitted to the bar in any state of the US or the District of Columbia.
  • A strong interest in upskilling for a digital world and embracing technology innovations, with an openness to learn new tools and new ways to deliver US immigration legal services.
