Pay Range: $50,000 - $62,000 per year. Main Responsibilities:
  • Goal Setting and Monitoring: Set clear goals and deadlines for performance in line with the company's plans, monitoring daily progress to ensure targets are met consistently.
  • Workflow Organization: Assess staffing resources and effectively organize workflow to ensure tasks within the department are carried out efficiently by competent team members.
  • Training Delegation: Manage the delegation of training within the department, ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Personnel Management: Maintain personnel records, monitor timekeeping and absences, and assess and review staff performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Liaison: Act as a key liaison within the department, communicating updates, targets, and operational changes to the team while providing feedback and addressing suggestions, improvements, and concerns from team members to management.
  • Quality Standards: Monitor and enforce quality standards within the team to meet quality objectives, reporting any issues to management promptly.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the daily operation of equipment by monitoring performance, calling for repairs as required, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety in the workplace, ensuring the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role.
Team Management: Manage the team in day-to-day operations, organizing workflow, monitoring employee productivity, and fostering a positive work environment About You We seek candidates with:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry (minimum 1 year).
  • Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, coach, develop, motivate, and build effective relationships within teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to lead a team.
  • Accuracy under pressure and working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
