User Experience Engineer - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a UX Engineer role is Contract with client in New York (Hybrid). We're ideally looking for an applicant with experience in UX/UI with strong design and front-end development skills, proficiency in Figma, and the ability to read and extract insights from code. Experience in prototyping, AI/ML, and working with large datasets is a plus.

Pay Range: $132-$135/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Overall Responsibilities: (Share 2-3 sentences about POSITION)

• Development of datasets for AI training and evaluation
• Eval development and experimentation (in collaboration with UX team)
• Dataset creation tooling development
• Data analysis of benchmark results, including development of necessary infrastructure
• Fine tuning LLM models
• Productionizing of datasets for application to post-training of LLMs

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)

• Code comprehension Ability to extract relevant information from reading code in one or more core languages and frameworks, including the ability to leverage the code as a resource to create work output for users or stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Experience creating prototypes or custom tooling for the product development process.
• Experience with front-end development technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other)

• A passion for AI/ML and its potential to transform user experiences.
• Experience working with large datasets and machine learning models or dataset creation or annotation.
