The Role:

As an Usher or Ticket Taker, you engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show, help to ensure safety, and help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue.

Job Functions:

+ Greet guests and scan tickets upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, alert guests of venue policies as needed.

+ Examine tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event and assist guests with locating their seats. Help maintain clear aisles and inform guests of venue policies as needed.

+ Provide assistance to with guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.

+ Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity. May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

+ Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to the guest.

+ Help resolve guest complaints or problems, or direct them to the appropriate department to assist them.

+ Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.

+ Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.

+ Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

+ Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.

+ Additional tasks as requested by Supervisor or Management.

+ This roll is part-time, seasonal and requires evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

+ At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred

+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

+ Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

+ Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
