The Refrigeration Roundsman will inspect and monitor the Utilities Systems Components and identification of potential abnormalconditions which would be reported to the Refrigeration Technicians/ Mechanic and/or Supervisor for further corrective action. Core Responsibilities. Understand the basic refrigeration and steam process and process flows. Understand system control set points and safe operating parameters. Understands plant operating temperature requirements for general area as well as process critical systems and steps to alert technicians/supervisor for correction (i.e. Quick Chill, Hog Carcass Coolers, Pet Food Chilling Systems).
