UTILITY FOOD SERVICE WORKER - Amentum : Job Details

**Amentum** is seeking a **Utility Food Service Worker** located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Utility Food Service Worker assist with food preparation during the various service shift.

**Job Requirements:**

+ Performing food preparation

+ Brewing coffee,

+ Equipment maintenance

+ May also clean dishes

+ Transport things to and from storage

+ Operate equipment like mixers, ovens, or grills.

+ May cook all cuts of various meats

+ Operate dishwasher and disposes of trash

+ Washes, cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, food preparation and sanitation equipment

+ May be required to operate, maintain, and/or clean food service equipment including temperature-controlled storage units, dry storage containers, steamers, ovens, fryers, broilers, grills, meat slicers, knifes, pots, pans, floors, walls, windows, and outside areas

+ Performs a variety of simple, routine, unskilled tasks related to the preparation and serving of food

**Minimum Requirements**

+ 1+ years' experience as a preparation chef in the restaurant industry or relevant experience

+ High school degree or equivalent

+ Able to read and follow standardized recipes

+ Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

+ Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

+ ServeSafe Certification preferred

+ Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience

+ Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends

+ Able to bend, move, and lift up to 25 pounds or more

+ Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift

+ Must possess a government issue clearance at time of application
