Utility Operator - Tillamook Creamery : Job Details

The Utility Operator provides entry-level work in production departments within the plant in both cheese and cold storage. The position is responsible for keeping the plant areas in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order. This position provides work coverage for Operators when needed for absences, training, or other job assignments. A Utility Operator may be assigned to special job duties if needed. Heres a day in life: Assists in the setup, cleaning, and operation of the towers, sealers, and boxers. Maintain a clean work area and follows good manufacturing practices (GMP) standards. Ability to understand ERP/ NAV and use interface. Assist maintenance in troubleshooting problems with equipment. Maintain the general housekeeping according to the Make Room MSS. Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor/lead during the course of the day.
