We offer 100% vertical integration capabilities such as end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics.We are proud of our Tier 1 supplier legacy for manufacturing propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components, and assemblies around the globe.Position Summary: The Utility Technician performs basic maintenance activities, assists with machine repairs, general maintenance, tip and weld cap maintenance, and other maintenance activities as assigned. MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE!!•Assists with Maintenance Tech work excluding machining •Assists with Welder Cap / Tip changes, including badging into HMI & HMI resets •General maintenance including changing light bulbs, cleaning fixtures and other assigned duties to assist Electricians when apprentices are unavailable •Basic maintenance activities relative to equipment repair •Assists with electrode inspection and tip dress/blade process •Assists with part repair and mig-welding •Licensed to drive a fork-lift, operate crane (as required), or other PIV equipment •Support assembly lines as needed This is a full-time role, will be part of our team and reports to the Production Supervisor.Required experience:•High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience •Regular and punctual attendance is required •Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge in an industrial environment for welding, stamping and production machinery •Knowledge of preventive maintenance concepts and procedures •Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos •Ability to write simple correspondence •Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as required •Ability to work with a computer and Microsoft Office •LOTO training required Working conditions:
