The primary job duties of this position include:+ Performs installation, maintenance, inspection and repair work on the water distribution system;+ Operate a variety of equipment, machinery and tools used in department projects;+ Perform technical duties locating underground water assets in public streets, alley, utility easements and right-of-ways using GIS maps;+ Responsible for completing vehicle inspection forms and daily work logs;+ Operate heavy equipment including excavation equipment, backhoe and vac truck;+ Subject to emergency call-out and must be able to work overtime; including nights, weekend, holidays and be on stand-by as required;+ Understanding of a water distribution system.+ Other duties as assigned.About YouAt Team Gilbert , we hire innovative, forward-thinking problem-solvers who love what they do!
