Utility Worker - THF Park - City of Denison Texas : Job Details

Performs field work related to parks maintenance, recreational activities and special events. Examples of Duties The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competence and satisfactory performance of these duties. Other duties may be required and assigned. Assists field crews with maintenance and repairs of parks, including landscaping, equipment repairs, athletic facilities, turf management issues, and addresses safety issues. Operates hand tools, weed eaters, mowers, and other various equipment types used for division. Maintains all equipment, vehicles, tools, etc. in proper, safe, and clean working order. Maintains and repairs picnic tables, fences, benches, trash cans, walkways, playground equipment and other park items.
