Our telecommunications client is looking for a UX Designer to join their team for an 8-month contract. This is a hybrid position that can be based in NYC or Miami, FL. This role does require going to the office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9-6 PM EST.Responsibilities:
- Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
- Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
- Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
- Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
- Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
- Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
- Generate multiple credible design solutions based on analysis.
- Identify appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief and recommend solutions.
- Participate in divergent and convergent group work.
- Explore, refine, and document solutions thoroughly.
- Objectively evaluate and refine concepts based on learnings from prototypes.
Required Skills:
- Three or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of high fidelity prototyping and testing experiences
- Experience with user centric design overall.
- Experience designing technical and/or business web applications.
- Experience with Figma.
Qualifications:
- A portfolio of UX design work from pencil and whiteboard, to wireframes and prototypes (blog, Dribbble, Github, etc.).
- Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.
- Portfolio of largely professional work.
- Contributed to one or more design programs or shipped products.
- Ability to digest and translate complex technical requirements into intuitive experiences.
- Portfolio examples of enterprise applications and shopping journey samples.
- Experience with JIRA.
- Experience with Smart Sheets and/or Google Suite.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field of study.
