Posting DetailsPosition Information Winthrop Position Title Technical Assistant (Recording and Stage) FWS Job Purpose To Assist the Technical Director in the maintenance of the Music Department Facilities and Equipment and Music Department Events.Duties and Responsibilities Work with the department's Tech Director to ensure equipment and facility is in good working order.Act as Stage Crew, under the Tech Director's supervision for large Music Department Events and University Events, held in Music Department facilities.Stage Manage Student Performances, as needed, to include set up and break down, running lights, sound equipment, and curtains, and securing the facility.Other Duties, as required.Qualifications Trustworthy, reliable, ability to follow instructions, able to lift 50+ lbs.Prior Experience in Choir, Band or Drama Club.Preferred Skills Experience in a theatrical or music venue or church.Prior Knowledge of theatrical sound and lighting systems.Choir, Band or Drama Club Experience.Pay Rate $7.25/hr Type of Position Federal Work Study Position Level Graduate or Undergraduate Hours Per Week variesPosting Detail Information Posting Number 2025SD0003P Open Date 12/02/2024 Close DateDesired Start Date 01/06/2025 End Date 05/10/2025 Special Instructions to ApplicantsPLEASE NOTE *Supplemental questions are considered part of your official application.*Please complete the entire application, including all current and previous work history and education.
