Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
- Experience in working on UX research products for consumers.
Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 2 years of experience conducting UX research on products, managing projects, and working in a large, matrixed organization.
- Understanding of consumer video products.
- Familiarity with advanced data analysis approaches and tools (e.g., R, Python).
- Familiarity with surveys/experimental design and analysis.

Responsibilities - Design, plan and execute high-quality research that uncovers actionable insights to improve the viewer experience. Build intuition around user needs and shape the direction of features.
- Answer diverse research questions, drawing from a variety of methodological approaches and tools from usability tests, interviews and surveys to remote unmoderated research.
- Own research roadmaps across a full feature life-cycle, providing foundational and generative insights to establish viewer needs and evaluative research to identify and address issues.
- Manage ongoing research programs that allow research insights to efficiently scale across Main App's platforms.
- Advocate for user needs in cross-functional forums and craft convincing narratives and presentations that increase user understanding and drive viewer impact.
