POSITION SUMMARY:

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Vacation Rental Inspector to ensure every home is flawless before and after guests arrive at our Joshua Tree properties. The role involves conducting regular property inspections to maintain brand standards and evaluating maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping operations.

You will ensure exceptional guest experiences by managing supplies, promptly addressing concerns, and proactively identifying and solving issues.

The ideal candidate must be in the Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, or 29 Palms area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect properties to maintain brand standards and evaluate maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping operations.
  • Review/audit property administrative and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience by auditing properties, managing supplies, and responding to concerns promptly.
  • Lift, move, unpack, and do the more “unglamorous” side of supply chain support for properties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be located in the Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley or 29 Palms area

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in short-term rental or hotel operations (preferred).
  • Hospitality experience (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a team environment or work independently.
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of basic residential mechanical systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, and well systems (preferred).
  • Self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and an overall flexible work schedule to fit current business needs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly confident in navigating various tech/management applications on desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
  • Reliable car, a valid driver's license, and the willingness to travel regularly within the designated area.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree or job experience that requires analytical skill sets (preferred).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25.00
