• Operate melting equipment to melt and pour various parts using different alloys
• Set up air and/or vacuum units to meet melting parameters
• Perform pre-heat oven operations and move materials safely to furnaces
• Take samples and conduct materials testing
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Foundry experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of the periodic table of elements
