We are looking for a dedicated short term and detail-oriented Contract Worker (CW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing procedures, working closely with teams in India and Corvallis, and validating new software designed to run large physical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of new software.
  • Collaborate with teams in India and Corvallis to coordinate testing efforts and validate software performance.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Validate software functionality and performance on large physical systems.
  • Ensure the Safety aspects of the Physical Systems while performing and proving the new software.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing and validation.
  • Provide hand off training to client's personal.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software testing and validation.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working with large physical systems and understanding their software requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams and coordinate across different time zones.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in understanding large Physical system, for example: Physical Machines, Robotics Systems etc, understanding its interfaces and testing the whole system with new software .
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testing.
  • Experience with performance testing and validation of large-scale systems.
  • Experience in understanding and testing PLC and its interfaces.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science
