The PHM Financial Planning team is seeking an experienced Program Director to guide the design and management of our Value Based Contract analytics suite. Reporting to the Director of Value Based Care Performance, the Program Director will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making to enhance patient outcomes, reduce costs, and improve overall healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of value-based care models, advanced analytics skills, and the ability to oversee third-party analytics vendors while developing in-house analytics assets to support cost reduction and intervention evaluation.
Principle Duties:
Qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on experience in analytics and reporting in healthcare working with clinical (preferably Epic) and administrative data (e.g., payer claims data or billing data).
Minimum a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in economics, finance, mathematics, informatics or business administration strongly preferred.
A master's degree in business/health administration, public health, or economics preferred.
A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
Skills and Abilities:
Expertise in data analytics, statistical methods, and predictive modeling.
Strong programming skills in SQL, willingness to learn other programming languages as necessary.
Proficiency in Tableau preferred.
In-depth knowledge of value-based care models, including Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and bundled payment programs.
Experience in overseeing third-party analytics vendors and managing external data solutions.
Proven ability to develop analytics assets for cost reduction and intervention evaluation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
