Aventura's policy is to provide safe, responsible transportation for residents and staff..
  • All van drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a current, valid OH driver's license to place in the employee's file before being allowed to drive the van.
  • A motor vehicle report will be obtained on all new drivers that utilize the facility vehicle.
  • Van drivers are responsible for fastening the wheelchair security belts in the van.
  • Driver is responsible for making sure all passengers in the van are wearing seat belts.
  • The van driver is responsible for maintaining the van's cleanliness and supplies.
  • Must be willing to transport residents to doctors appointments
  • Schedule must be flexible
  • Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain CPR certification
  • STNA license preferred but not required
